Awesome ping pong table. Went together in 30 minutes. Smooth playing. Great quality. Directions were dummy-proof. Highly recommend.
This table gets a 1-star rating because most of the parts didn't fit together, making assembly very difficult. I found myself bending screws and taking apart the pre-assembled portions in order to put this thing together. It's also missing a part. The instructions are not great. A few items could be more clear. The table itself is ok but not great. I got this table for $200 off but had higher expectations for a $400 table. Now that I have the table put together, we are enjoying it. I also can't imagine ever taking this thing apart to move it out of my attic . . .
I have had this table for over 2 years. It works well and has held up except for the clamp on the net (I over tightened it). I super glued it and it has been fine. It stores well and I have enjoyed using it.
A friend and I put this together and just used the directions as a guide a couple times. It is not that hard. The problem with this table is the casters are junk. I broke the first one the third time I moved the table and the distributor tried to charge me 20 bucks for a new set. They sent me one for free. I just broke another one so I'm buying a new set and not dealing with them anymore. Other than the wheels, it is just what I hoped for. I bought it on sale and got a good deal.
Sears had these on clearance for $99. If it was anymore, I would have
I did some research and was well aware the assembly would be challenging. I took a few deep breaths and began patiently.
It is true - The instructions are terrible. Way to Go - Job Designers.
One of the most crucial steps for product delivery, and you skimp
on lousy illustrations and incorrect assembly steps.
You should ask four friends with steel toed boots to help join and hold the two halves, while you sit under (with hardhat) bolting the braces together.

Fire some and tell the rest they need to assemble
everything first before it finds its way onto the floor.

If the table top came together once I completed the assembly, I would have given it 3 1/2-4 stars for price alone. Assembly itself wasn't too bad, but I have to echo the other reviewers in that the quality control for aligning the parts was just not there. The table top alignment was off by almost 2 inches. I was able to "re-align" and get the net on without a gap, but I know once I fold it away and set it up later, I'll have to do the re-alignment again. There's also no leveling feet, so you may need shims. I gave it a second star because we enjoyed it once it was stable!
