Extends full 11' as advertised. This measuring tape does not bend while extending straight upward or straight outward like other measuring tapes we have used in the past.
For some reason Stanley changed the case or blade end. Now these tapes are hard to get ahold of the end and pull out of case, unless you have long fingernails! Nearly impossible with gloves. I have been using fat max tapes for close to 25 years great product until change.
I use my tape measure regularly around the house. I don't use it heavily but I have 3 helpers (ages 7, 8 and 11) so it does get abused ;) Bottom line - I love this tape measure. It is heavy duty, numbers are easy to read, retracts at a moderate speed, and stands out to 10' plus. When I need to measure, this is my go to measuring tape! 33-735 never recoiled correctly since new now it sticks about 24". have rewound some stanleys before but upon opening this exploded in my face
I don't have any pictures but I bought this item for my father who is a DIYer and he likes it and how it works thanks for a wonderful product
I have two old (think silver case with yellow sticker) Stanley 25' measuring tapes. They have always served me well during my time in the construction field. However, I purchased a 35' Fat Max now I'm an architect. The case is built solidly. The wide thick blade allows me to measure existing conditions extremely well. It's always in my office, ready to go. I highly recommend this tape measure! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
