Handy dandy

Good capability for the money
|Easy to use but you need to take the time to define the stud line from the screws.
Only finds the nail
|The problem with this little guy is that it only finds the nail for the stud, not the stud itself. It's great if you don't already have a stud finder and you don't plan on paying a chunk of money to get one. This one is perfect for me because I doubt I will ever actually need a stud finder for anything major but I wanted to have one as a backup just in case. The issue is that you have to go back and forth along the wall until you hit the level that the nail is at. Then you can find the studs. It takes a little longer and it's not as exact but it's definitely better than nothing and useful in a bind.
