I am a transit bus driver in Erie PA and I set my Stanley on my bumper while I was outside of the bus and forgot about it and drove off the bus ran it over but I am still using it! Toughest mug I have ever owned!
Purchased mine last week to replace a thermos I have owned for 20 years. The quality is immediately apparent. Very light and feels like a tin can. I of course prepared the thermos with hot water and on its first use at work only kept my coffee warm for 1 hour. To be fair I prepared a fresh pot today at home. Keeping the thermos inside I expected it to perform somewhat better. This time it kept the coffee hot for two hours. Please do not purchase expecting the quality and reliability of the old Stanley thermos. You will be greatly disappointed.
Great for coffee on the go
I Use This Product For Work Everyday I Drop Water into it nothing fancy and even when I walk around town in 30 above days this bottle keeps it cold for hours on hours it's reliable and I dropped it a few times the bottle never dented I still have one that has the chrome finish before the were changed to flat metal I would highly recommend this bottle to anyone looking for a classic durable bottle the Stanley Bottle was given to me by a friend as a gift a love it thank's Stanley for a solid hammertone green bottle
Carried my old Aladdin since 96 banging it around daily. Finally knocked the bottom off, one email later got a brand new one at the door 5 days later, noticed it was made in china and was worried. To my surprise I filled it up with hot tap for 30 min then hot coffee, set on the counter and checked 24 hrs later,to hot to drink checked again in 48 hours still very hot, lid back on and at 72 hrs still hot enough to drink. However I only opened it once per day for test purpose. I would put those results against any bottle out there!!! Thanks stanley for a great bottle and warranty. Keep up the good work!
I've had a few of the old 1.1s in the past and loved them. Still have them too even though they have migrated through my family scattered throughout 3 states. One has been at the family hunting camp in PA for almost 20 years and said from being run over by 4 wheelers, trucks, dropped down the side of A mountain and even stolen by a bear, we found it in its den A month after it ransacked the cabin 10 years ago, it's had parts replaced many times and still works like new. A few years ago I started tossing around the idea or getting another one. Instead I was in a scrap yard about 5-6 years ago when a kid next to me dropped off his last box that had 4 1.1s in it. I waited till he was finished and grabbed them up. One was still in plastic, another still worked though it was missing it's cup and the other 2 needed replacement parts, one newer model that I found at ace hardware and one older model that I'm still looking for parts to but really in no big hurry. Still have most of them and they still work like new. Mom calmed the brand new one about a month after finding them and then left it at my uncles 2 years ago. Stamped my initials into the side of them so I could tell mine from the others where I used to work. Now I just tell my uncle and cousin's to just send them home when their done with them.
