Absolutely, hands down, the best customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. I had a minor issue with the button sticking and being stiff and when I emailed Stanley....4 days later I had a brand new lid delivered to my door. I had only wanted some guidance on what I could do to loosen the button up on the old one as it still worked well and never leaked. If every company took care of their customers this way, it would be much nicer being a consumer. Love You Stanley. A life long customer Terry
First for the good stuff (I have the 16oz variation of the mug) This product does what they claim regarding the insulating factor, love it for that part. When functioning properly it does seal quite well however make sure you read my comments with regard to this in the Cons portion of my review. It is easy to use and for my sake the right size. They do stand by the warranty which leads us to the cons of this product. I will also add the reps I have spoken with have always been courteous. Down side since I have owned I have just requested the 4th replacement lid in less than 2 years time with the last 2 lids lasting less then a 1/2 uses each before having an issue. The problem is it having a material flaw I believe. The push button does not stay intact. This is a result of "normal usage ie. the last one broke when I was screwing the lid on. the one before that just simply popped out when I depressed and released the button. Unfortunately due to this flaw I would not recommend putting this when filled into a backpack or such as I have had the failure occur and damaged some pretty import papers. when the button comes off it compromises the integrity of the seal around the stem where the button connects to. Regarding the warranty it is great that they are willing to replace the defect part however you have to weigh out is it really worth the time and hassle of having to do so multiple times for the same product. Each time I have offered to return the defective item for their review in hopes it would help them in they quality dept, however they do not cover the shipping cost to return the defective item. All in all if they got the problem solved this would be by far the greatest coffee mug I have ever owned, but I would have to say until this issue is resolved I would not recommend this product at this time.
I own 3 of these. Best coffee mugs I've ever owned. There so good, my wife bought 2 for her self. I work out side. In a dirty, dangerous, drop things along way down job. I've abused these mugs for 3 years. And finally need to replace 1 lid. And believe me, I've abused these mugs. I don't stick cup in dish washer, or lid. Stop being lazy.
Button on mine keeps popping off. Can put back in but is useless unless you find the little spring. This started happening about 6 months. Now the seal is missing & leaks. Don't normally search my sink after I wash dishes so, I guess bye bye. Light use, don't abuse it.
The performance is as good as the more expensive lifestyle mugs, but it doesnt spill. I am bus and I don't have time or patience for spills.
the cap started to malfunction and now it spills. the button will get stuck and i definitely don't trust it to keep us dry while using it.
I bought two of these at Starbucks. The button broke off on one, and within a week the button broke on the second. My use was easy, so this definitely is a design defect.
