This tape measure is both safe and versatile and is the best I have ever used. The LeverLock is really functional and also safe. It only retracts or extends if you are pressing the lever, which is the opposite logic as every other tape measure with those iffy locks that often retract when you don't want them to. Other nice features are that the end of the tape has a magnet that really comes in handy as it is powerful enough to hold it in place those times that I am measuring something metallic/magnetic such as a sheet rock corner where there is nothing to hook the end onto. The tape itself is nice and wide with easy to read fractional marks down to the 1/8th inch for the entire 25 feet, also with 1/16th inch markings. There is also an arrow every 16 inches throughout the tape to help with studs. Conclusion: This is the easiest to use and best tape measure I have ever used and highly recommend one to everybody to replace that chap and dangerous tape measure that's in your tool box right now.

|Overall a fantastic product for the price. Came exactly as described in a quick and timely manner. We have a number of stanley tape measures around the house and i finally got one for my tool bag.

|The steel tip and allowance for it to expand at the end along with calibrations to match make this a great tape. The lever lock was easy to use and this tape looks well built to long the distance.
