The volume and sound is great for this size device and price point. It's size color and shape help it blend in anywhere in your house. I haven't had it long enough to speak to its longevity, but compared to others I have bought in the past it's worth the buy already. Two negatives: the voice speaking the instructions like "Bluetooth connected " is very hard to understand, and if you get a phone call or other interruption it tends to disconnect/confuse the bluetooth so your music stops, instead of connecting the call on the speaker. I ordered this online and was able to have it shipped to my local Sears store.
The sound is not bad considering its puny size. Bluetooth works fine as does the analog auxiliary input; the radio and music (on user-supplied microSD card) play modes work, but without a display of any kind, one has to cycle through stations/songs one by one. An automated voice makes announcements in heavily accented English: "Zee bluetoos device is really to pal" (the bluetooth device is ready to pair), "zee bluetoos device is connecteduh" (the bluetooth device is connected), "owks input motor" (auxiliary input mode), etc.
