Horrible quality

|

It is made from the cheapest material. After first rain, all chairs and the table started to rust and leaked the rust fluid all over our wooden porch. The brown and yellow stains will not come off. It completely destroyed our porch. Every time it rains it gets worse, more rusty fluids come out. We are so disappointed, even more Sears refuses to take responsibility. They won't let us return it or get at least a store credit! They are selling damaged goods! Do not buy it!!!!!!!

DON'T BUY would give 0 stars if I could

Looks and feels great. However unless you like ORANGE stains on any carpets and decking I would stay away. After only a few months every piece starts to rust from inside and stain everything under each piece. The design is defective in letting any water get into the pieces. I cover mine but still have the issue with only getting limited water exposure and since it takes a few months for the issue to show Sears washes its hands of it and refers me to the manufacturer. I don't need another rusty set ruining my deck more so after only a few months I'm going to most likely be out what I paid for it and have to find another set. I'm sending a list of items to manufacturer for review. I will update if resolved but I'm not happy with Sears selling junk that only looks good but doesn't hold up to the purpose it is made for and not standing buy the item with a defective design. Definitely a faulty design that no one wants to stand buy.

I'll also add that Sears customer service is the worst phone maze auto attendant with poor service once you get through to someone. Unless you enjoy the 2 hour transfer game until you give up.

Do not buy

I have had this set for 2 months now and it is already rusting. Also, water pools inside the legs of the chair then spills all over when the chair is moved leaving orange rust spots all over my patio. I am extremely unhappy.

Worst outdoor product ever purchased DO NOT BUY !!!

|

We purchased this set April 23rd 2018. It arrived may 6,2018. We unboxed and began to assemble only to find damage to two of the chairs and tabletop. We emailed the manufacturer and got new pieces to replace the poorly quality controlled original pieces. About a 3 weeks later we began to notice rusty water leaking from the chairs. I contacted the manufacturer and was told the set should be covered when not in use. It's an outdoor set designed to be outside and after 3 weeks is rusting ? My wife then conactied Sears who in my 30+ years of shopping for myself and business has always stood behind their products. We were told sorry you are outside of your 45 day return policy. We have appealed to Sears corporate and customer resolution with 8-10 hours of time spent contacting them. To say that Sears has dropped the ball here is an understatement. Numerous phone calls that were supposed to be returned by upper level management that never were.
I understand that this is a manufacturing issue, however we purchased from Sears and have always received quality products. Our business has spent 10's of thousands of dollars with Sears's every time we open a new storefront. This will certainly change given the poor service on this inferior product that is be sold by Sears. The set this is replacing is 10 years only and has no rust. Yet this one is 3 months old and covering our patio in rust.
DO NOT BUY THIS SET !!!!
Sears you have lostva lifetime customer here with this product.

Not Sears fault

|

Deeply disappointed in this patio set, as well as customer service that I received from the company. Picked the set up from Sears and brought it home. Opened the box and there were 8 right chair arms instead of 4 right and 4 left. Call the number for the company customer service. After spending half the day on hold, finally got through to a person who was incredibly rude. After explaining my situation and that I would need 4 replacement left arm for this set, she said that I would not receive them until mid-August. What is the point of waiting that long. Unfortunately, I returned the set to Sears. It seemed to be a solid set, otherwise; sad that I had to return it.
