I have had this set for 2 months now and it is already rusting. Also, water pools inside the legs of the chair then spills all over when the chair is moved leaving orange rust spots all over my patio. I am extremely unhappy.
We purchased this set April 23rd 2018. It arrived may 6,2018. We unboxed and began to assemble only to find damage to two of the chairs and tabletop. We emailed the manufacturer and got new pieces to replace the poorly quality controlled original pieces. About a 3 weeks later we began to notice rusty water leaking from the chairs. I contacted the manufacturer and was told the set should be covered when not in use. It's an outdoor set designed to be outside and after 3 weeks is rusting ? My wife then conactied Sears who in my 30+ years of shopping for myself and business has always stood behind their products. We were told sorry you are outside of your 45 day return policy. We have appealed to Sears corporate and customer resolution with 8-10 hours of time spent contacting them. To say that Sears has dropped the ball here is an understatement. Numerous phone calls that were supposed to be returned by upper level management that never were.
I understand that this is a manufacturing issue, however we purchased from Sears and have always received quality products. Our business has spent 10's of thousands of dollars with Sears's every time we open a new storefront. This will certainly change given the poor service on this inferior product that is be sold by Sears. The set this is replacing is 10 years only and has no rust. Yet this one is 3 months old and covering our patio in rust.
DO NOT BUY THIS SET !!!!
Sears you have lostva lifetime customer here with this product.
Deeply disappointed in this patio set, as well as customer service that I received from the company. Picked the set up from Sears and brought it home. Opened the box and there were 8 right chair arms instead of 4 right and 4 left. Call the number for the company customer service. After spending half the day on hold, finally got through to a person who was incredibly rude. After explaining my situation and that I would need 4 replacement left arm for this set, she said that I would not receive them until mid-August. What is the point of waiting that long. Unfortunately, I returned the set to Sears. It seemed to be a solid set, otherwise; sad that I had to return it.
I only received the table all the chairs were missing.
We bought this set online end of April of this year and received it in a week.
We opened the box and started assembling the chairs first. All the hand rest steel welding looked like it was melting and not evened out. Also one of the seat fabric has a big hole in it. We called the home delivery team and were told to reassembled the set in order we can return the set. Which is going to take us another few hours to do that or wait 2 months to replace the seat. The next day it rained here in Chicago so all the fabric seats were stained from the rust came from the table frame and on our patio bricks. I tried to clean the rust on the fabric, unfortunately the fabric color changed. Oh the table legs and seats legs are rusty now. I was on the phone more than 2 hours in order someone can help me but no. They have a bad customer service and don't care about their customers. After all the arguments back an forth, they gave us discount $198. Yes we got the discount but we stuck with a set looks rusty and a hole in the seat. With the discount money I have to go and buy cushions to cover the rusty faded color seats. So whatever they say "weather-resistant powder coated steel frame or fade-resistant olefin sling chairs" all is not correct.
