I was so leery about buying this set because of some of the reviews, but it fit the bill so I took a chance. I had such a hard time finding a gray set to replace my old one. This one was 1/3 of the price of my last set so that was certainly a plus! I waited until after it rained hard a couple of times to write this review to see if I had a rust issue. I haven't seen any rust so far. The whole set was in perfect condition when I received it. No broken or cracked tiles. The tiles lay perfect on the tabletop. It took a little time to adjust the chairs so they wouldn't wobble but other than that no problems. So happy I took a chance!
I purchased this set for a holiday event my husband and I hosted. I bought it at Sears in Dearborn and haled it 55 miles to our campground. We chose this item for its comfort and ability to match the color of our deck perfect!. When removing the chairs from their package, we noticed a huge hole in one seats fabric!! With our guests on their way, and not enough seating, sadly we made the decision to keep the chair instead of halling it back 50miles.! So sad that my chair is ruined. I have no idea how to contact the manufacturer about this issue.
I just purchased this Filmore 7 piece outdoor dinette set on a Memorial Day sales ad. Great price! Looks above average quality, time will tell how it endures. If you use the included tools to assemble this, it may take all day & probably frustrate you.
My total set up time (by myself alone) took under 2hrs using a: 10mm & 13mm 3/8 socket w/ ratchet, 10mm + 13mm box end ratchet wrenches, & a Allen head bit ( you can also hacksaw the supplied Allen wrench curved end off) for my cordless drill. The install was then fairly simple & stress free.
The swivel chairs are the easiest to assemble & feel super comfortble. I wish all the chairs were that type. The built in headrest on the other sling chairs feels good & overall appearance looks great. Ceramic table panels easily remove for Winter.
I bought this dining set in March, 2018. I had new Azek gray composite deck built in January, 2018. We thought this Gray set would be perfect. I put the set together in our garage. Three of the chairs do now sit level. One leg on each chair is almost an inch off the ground. I kept the dining set in the garage until April after the snow and freezing temperatures were over for the season. Put the set on the new deck and it looked great. A few weeks later, rusty water dripped onto my new EXPENSIVE composite deck. I took out the tiles and washed the frame. Rusty water was flowing out several place from holes in the frame. I siliconed the slits where I thought it was coming from. This last week, More rusty water was on the deck, the table legs, and two of the chairs on the fabric. I was FURIOUS with this mess. i had to scrub hard the composite deck and used Tide and Hoover rug cleaner to get most of the spots out. Using a brush on the first chair also ruffed up the fabric on the one chair. I washed the table frame again this evening and I will silicone every slit and hole I can find when the frame dries. I have never been so mad with a new product in my 56 years. It is not a wonder why Sears is going under with the juck that they are selling in 2018!
Looks great, comfortable, and good price...however, after the first rain rust water came out of one of the holes in the bottom of the table and put a rust stain on a chair. One of the swivel chairs also seems to store water and when it comes out gets rusty water stain on my deck. Don't recommend this set since rusty water ruins everything.
