Why are you pushing plastic?

Why are you pushing the plastic applicator? I have used Tampax cardboard applicators for 25 years and they have never let me down. Your marketing of the Pearl and other plastic applicators is tricking young girls by implying that cardboard is uncomfortable in comparison. That is completely untrue. The cardboard is disappearing from store shelves and young people aren’t even going to know about this environmental friendly option. I’m sure this is a financial decision and plastic is cheaper than cardboard... but women and the environment lose when their choice is taken away. You have the perfect cardboard product at a great price. I encourage you to consider re-branding it as “environment friendly” and keep it on the shelves! (BTW... colorful, plastic applicators in the bathroom trash is NOT more discreet than white cardboard.)

Great tampon with biodegrable applicator!

I can't fathom producing a little piece of plastic every time I need to change my tampon. A piece of plastic that will pollute our planet effectively forever. I only use cardboard applicators, and I only use Tampax because it's literally the only brand I've ever used that didn't leak on me.

Protects nothing

So I bought this thinking it would be what I needed for my heavy flow. Was highly disappointed when blood would still leak through, which resulted in me having to wear a heavy flow pad. Wont be buying again.
