I bought these jeans for my 6yr old son for school and they look great on him and he likkkes them the only thing that i don't like about the new toughskin jeans is that they don't have the double knees on the inside like the other jeans that sears sold and they took away the kid advantage progam for kids my son will have rips in the knees in about 2 months sears bring back the double knee toughskin jeans
So, being a child in the 70s/80s, I remembered all these years later after having my own little boy the "toughness" of these jeans. I quickly found a Sears and purchased 2 pair last fall, just sure they'd live up to their name. Sadly, I have to report, my son has blown a knee out in these jeans! I was so disappointed! While the jeans do feel thicker than some other brands in his size, the knee does not seem to be "doubled" as they once advertised. My question to Sears: does the guarantee still stand???
I bought these because I had heard they were very durable! When I received them I took them right back to the store. The fabric is so thin! I don't think they would have lasted a week!
