Upland Dragonfly 16" Girls Bike

Purchased this bike as a Christmas gift for my 4 y/o daughter (She is 42" tall). For the price, this bike is excellent quality. My husband assembled and it took about a half hour and had no complaints (he is handy). LOVE the look of the bike. It looks even better in person than online. We tried out the bike once so far and everything functions as it should. Sturdy bike. It will, of course, tip over on uneven terrain, so if you have a new bike rider you may want to stay close. BE AWARE if you are ordering online or online for in store pick up, the UPC of this bike is connected to the white style. Meaning that you may not get the item in the color you are expecting. When we got to the store to pick up ours, we were able to swap for the blue bike as pictured here. If your store doesn't have the blue bike in stock, this may be problematic, unless you are not picky about the color. In any case, this bike was the best price and best quality of all the bikes we looked at in a 16" bike.

Very disappointed

I ordered online for store pick up and the store handed me the box that was damaged. The box was so damaged that i returned the bike that same day. I was so mad. So i order another bike somewhere else because that was the only bike they had left.

Bent frame

|

Ordered the bike online, got it 1 week before Christmas. Tried to put it together and the frame is so bent we can't even get the tire on. Called to try and get another one, but they refuse to send a shipping label to return the bent one. Instead, we're told we have to drive 2 hours to the closest store if we want our money back. Waited to talk to a supervisor for 40 minutes and was then hung up on. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

16 inch Dragonfly Bike

|

I purchased two of these bikes for our twins birthday. Our in-store location said they had many bikes in stock, but when I went they only had two 16 inch bikes, and this was it. The boxes were extremely damaged, and they had been partially opened. I purchased them anyway, and put them together as soon as I got home, as no one offered to put them together at the store (they didn't even offer to help bring them to the front of the store). The bikes went together okay, but we have a problem with the pedals. We tightened them after putting them on the bike, and my girls were ridding just fine, but the kids next door came over, and they are about 15-20 pounds heavier than my girls, and the bike pedals became loose and fell off. When this happened the pedals became stripped so we had to purchase replacement pedals for them, and they were only ridden for an hour.
