Good bathroom scale

Have been using this scale for a few weeks now and it is working good till now. I did not see any discrepancies in the weight till now. I was skeptical to buy this but i feel it has been a good buy. I am very happy of how it looks...sleek and stylish.

Loved it at first...

At first, I loved this scale. It's sleek and light. No more dial. Now I have noticed within a minutes time, the weight can be all over the place. I can step on, get my weight, step off, step back on within 30 seconds and my weight is up 2 lbs. Or it can be a 2-4 lb difference by just scooting it over an inch or two. So now I have no idea how accurate it is. Very disappointing.

Eats batteries in two weeks

|

At first I thought this scale was great. Then after weighing myself every morning for two weeks the low battery indicator came on that it needed replaced. I thought it just came with a low battery. No problem. I fork over the money for a new one. Everything is great till 9 days later and the low battery warning is flashing again and it won’t work. Kmart won’t return it without a box and Vivitar expects you to pay 80% or the purchase price to mail it to them to repair. Awful waste of money. Buy a better brand to begin with and save your money.

Very Nice Scale

|

It looks very chic and like it cost a lot more than it did. It seems to be accurate although I did get it a few days after my last doctor appointment so the weight did vary but I had been dieting. You do have to try and stand very still so the weight will lock on. When it does lock on a weight it will blink and hold. It turns itself off fairly quickly after stepping off. To turn it on you just step on. I haven't had to tap it or anything to turn it on. You do need to put this on a hard surface to weigh yourself. The only caution I found is since it is glass the surface is slick. So I would be careful in socks and would not use with wet feet.
