Read this before buying

This is a good lawn mower. Especialy for the price. You will need to push the prime bulb a couple of times before starting it unless its still warmed up which is very easy. Assembly was very easy despite other reviews. The wheels ARE adjustable despite other reviews. You just need to take the wheels off and re-attach them in the next few holes up. It has bogged down a few times but only in very thick and tall grass that was still slightly wet. It is light weight which is a big help. I need to pick it up and move it another part of the yard that I can not wheel to and this is much easier with this mower than my previous one. Put in all of the oil that comes with it before starting it. Its very simple. Assemble it (takes minutes), add oil, gas, push the prime button 3 times. Pull start it and you are ready to mow.

Long Term difficult to start

Purchased this mower three years ago. Used it for the past season, 6 months. Has become progressively harder to start and keep running. Change gas cleaned the filter and plugs but automatic throttle keeps hunting, cycling the engine, engine reving up and down.

gas cap problem

I have this lawn mower for 2 years and in general I am happy. However, I have two complaints. First this is the first mower I have ever owned without a plug underneath to drain the oil. You have to turn it upside down to drain the oil. I am sorry, but I find that feature quite stupid. That is only a minor aggravation compared to my main complaint. The gas cap.. Since I have owned the mower the gas cap pops off at the slightest bump. Now after only 2 years the top of the plastic gas cap has disintegrated. I am in the process of trying to find a replacement..

Ok. except handles

Can't use this mower. Handles won't line up with base.
Would be great mower however like many things from Sears now seems their seconds. Or things won't fit into things. Not drilled right. ETC. Good value if I could use it. I'll just keep the base, motor and wheels for replacing my mower I had to go buy after this one.

Not Good

Bought it on September 16th, used it twice, needed it on June 15th 1st time this year and would not start. Had repairman look at it and gaskets need replacing. Machine feels cheap and very disappointed. Don't buy.
