Great deal for the price

I shopped around for hex dumbbells. Price per pound, Sears has them cheapest. Since these type of dumbbells are more or less a commodity, I went for cheapest price per pound. I prefer these over the selectable weight dumbbells for a few reasons. First, these are blocks of iron, so they can't break. Second, since they are blocks of iron, they are smaller and denser than selectable weights, which I like because I want the smallest/heaviest dumbbell in my hand, not a gigantic selectable contraption. You can put together a decent set of hex dumbbells for about what one of those selectable dumbbells cost. And these will last forever. Maybe every 10 years you might have to clean them up with a wire brush, and throw a coat of grey paint on top, then good for another 10 years. The only negative was the grips are a little to aggressive. So a couple options there, you can get clear nail polish and paint a coat on the grips (which can easily be removed later with nail polish remover if desired). Or, what I did, was run a file over them a few times to knock off the high points (which of course would be permanent).

My item’s tracking number result states that the package is on it’s way to me and it’s been that way for at least 10 days after arriving in my city’s area. 1/4/19 arrival in Sacramento and hasn’t moved since???? SYW says to check the shipper (UPS). UPS has the package status as on its way and thus I cannot do any claims or adjustments. I can’t get any more replies from Shop Your Way.

Sears Joke

These guys really sell garbage. The items are often in boxes which are completely broken and often have items that are not in there. They say that is quite normal and joke about it. Have fun trying talk to anybody about anything. The 800 number will not do anything. The stores and people at them really do not give much **** about anything also. They rarely answer when you phon phon phon phone the store. Mostly voicemails they likely never check anyway. How are they still in business now...
