Great Set If You're Actually Lifting...

Look, this product is by far one of the cheapest you can find on the market and it gets the job done. If you're actually lifting, then it's perfect for you. For those who complain about the noise it makes when putting the weights on the bar must be casuals..Those rivets on the bar are to keep the weights from sliding so they serve their purpose. I'm sure there is nicer painted sets and fancier bars, but realistically why should that matter if all you're doing is trying to build muscle or tone your body.

messy musical weight set

I would have given the item 5 stars if the ends of the barbell weren't grooved. When the plates are put on and taken off the bar, the ends of the barbell are like a rasp that sands the paint off the weight plates. This leaves paint dust on my floor and my hands. It exposes the metal and will lead to rust. Plus, every time I put a plate on it sounds like i'm playing a washboard. I've never seen a barbell like this before, ever.

Building a home gym

|

I purchased online and picked up in-store at the Clearview Sears. The process for pickup was quick and easy. Everything was there weights, bar and springs. The bar does have ridges on it which does not bother me. I purchased the Weider Pro 7500 Power Half Rack and the bar is compatible. I would have liked more space to play with for re-racking but overall I am pleased so far. I can't attest to durability as I just bought them.

weights=cast iron you don’t need the extra expensive stuff to get your muscles growing.

|

Love it the price can’t be beat I love the hammer tone finish I’m getting some floor mats to preserve the finish on em as I love to keep my stuff in as good shape as possible I consider myself a bodybuilder so there won’t be a lot of throwing the weights around I set my weights down not throw them on the floor. with that said if your thing is CrossFit then look for bumper plates that are designed to be thrown around. Also if your goal is to push more than 300 lbs be prepared to fork out a little extra for another bar because the one that comes with the set is rated at 310 pounds never the less even with the added expense of a stronger bar I still came on top versus other weight sets money wise. Bottom line with me being a neat freak and all what it all boils down to weights=cast iron you don’t need the extra expensive stuff to get your muscles growing heck Most people now a days have better equipment than Arnold ever did yet they don’t look like him it’s about the work ethic not the brand. Hope my two cents help.

DID NOT RECEIVE BAR

|

I read the reviews and alot of them stated that they did not receive the weight bar with shipment. I ordered online and had the set shipped to a Sears Hometown store with hopes that with it being shipped to a store that I would have no problems getting the bar and if I did it would be easy to get a refund, WRONG. I got to the store and the bar was missing, only 4 of 5 boxes were shipped, when I told the man at the store to just give me a refund, he stated that he couldn't because it was bought online, and it was an authorized retailer store not an actual Sears store. I called sears 800 number, of course I get someone that barely speaks english and told them that I did not receive the bar and I was told and I quote "I'm sorry for your trouble, I will submit an investigation and you will receive an email in 3-7 business days. If the bar is not found you will receive a full refund. Thank you for your time." and that was the end of the call, he hung up. At this point I am absolutely livid. I call back and once again get someone who can barely speak english. I just skip trying to get the bar and tell them I want a refund, she says "Ok I understand you want a refund, please hold while I submit your claim." I was put on hold for 15 minutes and she hung up as well. I called back a 3rd time and once again I get someone that barely speaks english, tell him the problem and he says I'll issue you your refund, being fed up, I asked if he could issue a partial refund for just the bar and I go ahead and take the weights. He agreed and issued me a $50 credit. I have received the credit to my account and bought a bar elsewhere. So all in all I received 255 pounds of weights for $150. Technically not bad but, do not say the bar is included if your not going to ship it. I'm not the only one with this problem.

Stuck in the Whirlpool of Mainstream Diets?

If you struggle to lose weight or continue to pack on pounds, then hear this:

It’s NOT your fault.

That’s right…contrary to popular opinion—and what the media and medical community will
probably tell you—there is a strong chance you are not to blame for those extra pounds.

There is something else you need to know:

You are NOT alone.

The majority of dieters fail to keep off a single pound, and the average American dieter makes 4-6 dieting attempts per year. One study even concluded that 95% of severely overweight dieters gained back every pound within 3 years.

Most likely, there are several reasons you’ve struggled to lose weight in the past, and my experience tells me that you fall into one or more of 5 categories.

See those 5 categories here in this short presentation >> https://bit.ly/2wti4tr

One of the most common issues is lacking an easy-to-follow, step-by-step plan of action tailored personally for you.

I can’t rate it because I haven’t received it yet. The rating is for poor customer service. Almost two months I’ve been waiting for shipment. I have paid in full, yet the free cash in points I earned isn’t available to use and nobody knows where my weights set is. Communication is impossible and I’m getting very frustrated. I wouldn’t order from these guys again. I hope I can get a refund...
