Weider Pro 7500 power half rack

Easy to install. Steel is quality. Was close to buying another similar rack from *****. But this rack is better quality. You will not regret buying it.

Too wide

I have a standard 7 foot Olympic barbell and it BARELY clears the bar holds. And when I say barely, I mean less than a 1/4" off play for both sides. I guess that's why they don't have a picture a an actual bar on the bar holds. Not a good feeling when re-racking 200 lbs. of weight to worry/wonder if your bar holds are going to move or not. No protection on the spotter arms (like the bar holds), so paint is chipping off already. Spotter arms are angled towards the back of the rack, so the bar naturally rolls (causing the paint to chip) that direction. I've had this less than 2 weeks, already thinking about selling it on craigslist. Sears website is terrible as well. When I ordered this item their website stated it was in stock, but right after I ordered it I received an email saying it was back ordered. Overall horrible experience.

Pull-up bar

Excellent pull up bar. Sturdy. Well worth the price.

have it

Get it and you will appreciate it.

Great rack for bench, squat, deadlifts, pull ups, and holds all my weights! Very sturdy and I don't even have it bolted to the floor. I thought it was very similar to the half rack ****'s sells but its a little different. I really just believe it's an older generation of the same model. I was hoping the pull up bar handles were removable just so I could reconfigure them but discovered that they were reinforced with welds. All good though. Been working out with it for a week now and love it. I think I may put some rubber strips on the spotter racks like they used on the regular racks just to preserve them since I use them in dead lifts. I wouldnt hesitate to buy this if I had known what I know now. Happy buyer.

low quality control and customer service

paid for and arrived damage one month later. assembly took 3 hours and could not complete due to damaged front post. Customer service, technicians, and Sears referred calls to each other for 2.5 hours. No one could help. Ultimately had to torch end off as it is solid steel. Holding up okay for now. Only solutions provided were to disassemble and return product for full refund. Also would not honor purchase price if I reordered as price went up. Poor quality control and horrible customer service.

Does the job

It does the job couple of kinks but it’ll do! I would rather just save couple more dollars and buy the Rogue or Titan.
