These are very nice jeans. The reason I purchased them is that Wrangler is one of the few companies that still make my size, 28 inseam. That is DID make my size. Wrangler has quietly deleted this size. I hope they rethink this decision. Maybe, if enough customers complain, they will reconsider.
I've worn wrangler for many years and they have worn well, however, the fit has changed drastically. they are very baggy in the seat and the legs are huge. so much extra material that tailoring is a must if you don't want to look like you are wearing clown pants. because of the baggy fit, you must tighten your belt to avoid your jeans falling down. because of the cost of tailoring it is cheaper to buy more expensive jeans that actually fit. I am all done with wrangler until they start making jeans the way they used to fit.
Only by wrangler. Best quality, last longer then any other Jean
I have been wearing these jeans for 30+ years but no more. Why they would mess up such an awesome product is beyond me. They fit way too tight. The pockets are difficult to get your hand into. The coin pocket which I use daily is now completely useless, I can fit two fingers in but can't reach the bottom. I am truly sorry to say that I now have to find another brand of jeans. To say I'm disappointed with Wrangler would be a huge understatement.
Why the changes? Smaller front and back pockets. Outside leg seam is now inside. The U shape is now gone. No room in the seat. The back pockets are so small it looks like you took kids jeans pockets and sowed on an adult pair of jeans. The front pockets are so small I can hardly get my hands in them. Seriously? Wranglers once were the VERY best your hard earned dollars could buy. Now they are foreign garbage rejects. Wrangler is trying to save money. Sad. One more American icon dying an embarrassing death.
I am59 years old and have wore wrangler jeans most of my life and have wore the 97601 for many years now but now the size I have worn for a number of years now and I am the same weight and size now theses jeans want fit anymore. I'm very disappointed because I have trouble finding a size to fit. By the way my size is 46x32 so this makes it hard to find bigger size because most stores don't carry the larger sizes.
I'm sorry to say I had to buy Lee jeans this week and I'm not happy about this all due to wrangle trying to save on material by making smaller in my opinion.
I've been buying these exact same jeans for many years and have always been very happy with them. They fit nice, are very comfortable, and wear very well. But, the new, extremely narrow, watch pocket is almost useless. I can barely get 2 fingers part-way down into it, making it impossible to retrieve a small object from the bottom of the pocket.
