Five Stars for Speed, Distance, and Ease of Operation

Okay, it is a little hard to assemble the Navigator if you are unfamiliar with bikes. I had trouble figuring out how to hook up the brakes and had a few other rough spots during a two hour assembly time. I had to call customer service three times and Mr. Albert Hong was fantastic. He guided me over the potholes and I got the bike together and went riding the first day! I opted for the Cape Cod Rail Trail. It's a 22 mile paved roadway for bikes, runners, skateboarders, Moms pushing carriages and all manner of people of all ages. After a fifteen minute period of getting used to the pedal assist, I was able to 'navigate' the trail in fine fashion. The pedal assist allowed this 70 year old to keep up with the pack (I could have passed them if I wanted to) and do 16 miles on my first trip out. When I got home, I still had battery power to spare, so I headed for Cape Cod's best seafood restaurant, The Kreme & Kone on the Swan River in South Dennis. Following a delicious lunch, I started for home but decided to do a few more miles on the bike trail from Dennis to Harwich and then finally home. This bike rides like a dream. It has power to spare. Keep in mind, I just got the bike, so my review is built upon a very short time frame. Should issues arrive, I will update. BTW, I hit a sale at Kmart and got the bike for the "Steal" price of $399.00 It's back up to $480 or so now, but it's still a bargain. I have no stock in the company, no business interests at all. I have been retired for close to 15 years. I just really like the bike.

Be VERY careful about this bike

First--this is not a Sears issue...Sears staff was wonderful. This is about the bike itself. It only has a 90 warranty. If you live in a region where there is snow and you can't ride it for a while, you may be in trouble. Next, the chain came off and the wheel housing needed to be replaced. In order to do this the wires had to be spliced. Bike never was the same afterwards. Next, what happens if you have a flat and the tire has to come off...wires have to be spliced again. Very poor design. Unfortunately by the time we could ride the bike (we're in Vermont and we had snow late into the spring) the wheel housing failed only about the 5th ride and by then the 90 days were up. If you are going to invest your money, make sure you use it A LOT before the 90 days is up.

I love the bike but it arrived with a bent wheel. I have called them company many times, they don't return the calls. I sent them information by mail still no call. I purchased in March 2017

this my Order ID 0232592. i have no problem to assemble the Navigator,I love this bike the battery has power enough. to take me to my job that is about 7 miles from my house and come back and still have power the only problem that I had, was that the lock of the battery was not long enough to lock the battery but I communicated with customer service and they sent me a new lock I haven?t change it yet. but for the rest, this bike is a dream of someone that cannot drive a car. I'm just a customer that doesn't have a driving license and the bicycle result my problem
