These are horrible pans - Not non stick at all! Coating wore off quickly and I was very careful to cook per instructions. Would never recommend to anyone. My husband bought me a set as a gift and they were expensive. I did a lot of research (obviously not enough) and now we are stuck with terrible pots and pans as we cannot afford to re-buy new ones right now.
We bought a set of 3 (8"/10"/12") stainless steel ceramic fry pans. We paid a premium at a cookware specialty store in town. These pans performed marginally for little over a month. Food would not stick, but time to time certain foods (noddles for example) would stick. Within then next 3 months, most food started to stick. After 6 months, all food stick. No matter what protein, vegetables or grains. Using or not oil. As soon as it heats up. It is game over. Today, we are not able to cook an egg without it sticking, even if oil is used. As soon as the pan becomes hot, food start to stick. We use these to cook on a glass top stove. We are avid cooks with considerable experience, including one of us worked for over 10 years as a professional cook. We have tried several tricks. None of them work. These pans are done in a very short time. Very disappointed, since these are well built and designed for over use as well. We never got using them in the oven, considering the cook top experience, and fearing this would further degrade the product. These should NOT be sold as non-stick. They perform worse than traditional stainless steel pans when using oil in these.
I bought these pans from Williams Sonoma in March 2019. After just a few weeks, I started noticing everything was sticking to the pans (eggs, meat, etc). I hate the smell of burned eggs, so I was disappointed that these pans from such a big brand name were so badly manufactured.
I am going to send the pans in for warranty replacement. Hopefully the new set will be better.
We got a set of three of these for a wedding gift last year. Within a few uses food started to stick. I spent years as a cook and follow all of the care instructions (handwash gently, low heat, no abrasives etc.) but it doesn’t matter. These are a complete waste of money and I’m very unimpressed with the quality. These are the worst pans I’ve ever owned.
We have had them about 5 years and they are the only 2 non stick pans we own. We have experienced some sticking and realized the pan was not getting cleaned properly. When this occurs use barkeepers friend and it restores the pan to its original performance. We have not figured out when this occurs, but we suspect nonstick spray. Most importantly there are no missing pieces like we have experienced with other non stick coatings.
I purchased it because it was rated very high on cosumer reports. Gone bad in just two uses. Waste of my $100. No way to return it too. They said it should be unused and unopend for return.
